Connect Discord, configure notifications, and use all bot commands.

Install the Discord Bot

The TheGuildHub Discord bot delivers real-time notifications to your server channel. Installation takes under 2 minutes.

Create a webhook in Discord

Discord server → Channel Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook. Copy the URL.

Paste in Admin Settings

Go to /admin/settings → Integrations. Paste the URL and click Send Test Message.

Choose notification types

Toggle each event type: reservations, announcements, Fixed Claims, queue events.

Expected result

The bot is visible in your server's member list and can post to the configured channel.

Common mistakes

Inviting the bot to the wrong server — confirm the server name in the Discord invite screen.

Not granting 'Send Messages' permission to the webhook — the bot will silently fail.

💡Create a dedicated #guild-hub channel so bot notifications don't mix with general chat.

1 · Link Your Discord Account

Linking Discord lets you receive DM notifications when it is your turn to Claim a Respawn and use bot commands in your guild server.

Go to Profile → Discord

Open your Profile page and find the Discord section.

Click Connect to Discord

You will be redirected to Discord's OAuth authorization page.

Authorize the app

Confirm the permissions (send DMs, read basic info). You are redirected back to TheGuildHub.

Verify the connection

Your Discord username appears in Profile. You will now receive DMs for queue events.

💡You can unlink Discord at any time from Profile. Unlinking stops DMs but does not affect guild channel notifications set up by your admin.

2 · How Notifications Work

TheGuildHub sends two types of Discord messages: DMs to individual players and channel posts for the whole guild.

💬Direct Messages (DM)

Your turn to Claim — ⚡ It's your turn! You have 10 minutes.
Claim window expiring — ⏰ 2 minutes left to Claim your Respawn.
Reservation ending soon — ⏳ Your reservation ends in 15 minutes.
Promoted in queue — 📋 You moved to position #1 in the queue.

#️⃣Guild Channel Posts

New announcement posted by an admin.
Fixed Claim released — available first-come first-served.
Respawn available after long queue.
Guild stats summary (if configured by admin).

3 · Channel Configuration (Admin)

Guild channel notifications are sent via a Discord webhook configured by your Guild Admin.

Create a webhook in Discord

Discord server → Channel Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook. Copy the URL.

Paste in Admin Settings

Go to /admin/settings → Integrations. Paste the URL and click Send Test Message.

Choose notification types

Toggle each event type: reservations, announcements, Fixed Claims, queue events.

4 · All Bot Commands

Use these slash commands in your Discord server where the bot is active.

Account & Setup

/linkLink your Tibia character and Discord account to TheGuildHub. The bot will DM you a verification link.

/unlinkUnlink your Discord account from TheGuildHub.

/helpShow all available commands and a quick reference guide.

Respawn Info

/respawnsList all Respawns with their current status (Available, Occupied, queue length). Ephemeral.

/claiminfo CODEShow details for a specific Respawn: current player, remaining time, queue length, and Fixed Claim schedule.

/fixedclaimList all active Fixed Claims and whether each window is currently in effect.

/guildstatsGuild-wide snapshot: Respawn counts, queue totals, Fixed Claim count, member count.

Player Actions

/claim CODEReserve an available Respawn by its code. Returns your reservation details and timer.

/claimnext CODEJoin the queue for an occupied Respawn. Returns your queue position and estimated wait.

/claimaccept CODEAccept the Claim when it is your turn (within the 10-minute window).

/claimdel CODECancel your active reservation and release the Respawn.

/myclaimShow your current active reservation, time remaining, and cooldown status.

/myqueueShow all queues you are in and your position in each.

Admin Commands

/override[Admin] Release or reassign a Respawn manually. Opens an interactive prompt.

/announce[Admin] Post a quick announcement to the guild channel from Discord.

/syncranks[Admin] Trigger a guild rank sync from Tibia.com data.

Expected result

The bot responds immediately with your reservation details or queue position. Responses are ephemeral (only you see them).

Common mistakes

Wrong Respawn code — use /respawns first to see all available codes.

Using /claimaccept when you are not #1 in the queue — only works during the 10-minute claim window.

💡Bookmark /respawns — it gives you a real-time status of all Respawns without opening the web app.
